Minister of Education discusses with German ambassador promotion of cooperation.

Othman Abduljelil discussed with the German ambassador to Libya
promotion of cooperation between the two countries in education and
scientific research.
The minister briefed the ambassador on the ministry's plan to
introduce digital teaching programme for first primary years of
education and transform the curriculum from textbooks into digital
format and provide pupils with tablets as well as smart blackboards.
The minister also said there is a need to link university
colleges with closed circuit so that lectures can be presented into
more than just one faculty at the same time. He said the programme
primarily targets faculties of medicine in order to improve medical
education. The minister also stressed the need to improve technical
education and link its institutions in Libya with their counterparts
in Germany.
The ambassador for his part underlined his country's keen
interest to support all programmes and projects in Libya.
