Salama and Abu Al Ghaith Discuss Confidence Building Between Libyan Parties.

Cairo, 3 February 2019(Lana) UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghasan Salama on Saturday discussed with Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmad Abu Al Ghaith efforts to build confidence between Libyan parties, and consensus on the steps needed to fulfill the electoral and constitutional commitments with the framework of the Political Agreement. Abu AlGhaith renewed at the meeting Arab League's support for the UN plan and the political path to overcome the political impasse and division to conduct elections, the Official Spokesman of the Secretary General Mahmoud Afifi said. Afifi said the meeting focused on a radical solution to the armed groups outside the state control which threaten security and stability of the country. =Lana=
