GNA Minister of Interior Meets Director of UNDP in Libya.

Tripoli, 26 November 2018(Lana) The GNA Minister of Interior Fathi Pashagha on Monday met the Director of the UN Development Programme in Libya Sultan Hajev, and the Director of the Police and Security Joint Project Mohamed Al Qasari. A number of issues of common interest as well as the UN program in Libya were discussed at the meeting, which was held at Ministry's headquarters here. Hajef outlined the role the UN Development Programme is playing through the UN Support Mission in Libya, including offering advice and material and moral supprt to the Police, and security personnel, and also creating the right conditions for them to carry out their work. Rajev praised the latest measures taken by Pashagha including establishment of a human rights office at the Ministry. The Minister of Interior said the ministry was prepared to cooperate with UNDP in all areas including the security one. =Lana=
