President of Presidency Council receives Turkish Minister of Defense.

Council, Fayez Al sarraj received Monday at the Council of Ministers
in Tripoli, the Turkish Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, heading a
large delegation that comprises Chief of General Staff, Yasar Guler,
the Special Representative of the Turkish President to Libya,
Emrullah Isler, and several Turkish Foreign and defense ministries.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siala,
Undersecretary of Defense, Wahida Najem, chief of General Staff, Maj
Gthe Presidency said the meeting covered bilateral relations in line
with ties of brotherhood and friendship between the two countries.
The talks also dwelt on military cooperation between the two
countries especially on building defense and security capacities in
Libya through training progarmmes and implement agreements signed by
the two countries. They also discussed several topics related to the
fight against terrorism and coordination mechanism between the two
ministries of defense of both countries.
They also addressed unifying the military institution, the
President said this is a basic goal of the GNA, stressing that the
process to unify the military institution with all its components
require a unified political will and depends on the success of the
political track.
