Ahmed Amitiq meets South Korean ambassador.

Tripoli, 28 August 2018 (Lana) Deputy at Presidency Council, Ahmed Amitiq met Tuesday with the South Korean ambassador to Libya to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries. The ambassador conveyed his government gratitude for the efforts made by the Libyan government to free the kidnapped South Korean engineer and several of his Filipino companions who were kidnapped last July. The ambassador said this incident will not impact the cordial relations between the two countries. He said the embassy would resume its work in Tripoli next September accompanied by the return of South Korean companies to resume their work in Libya. For his part Deputy Amitiq welcomed the return of South Korean embassy to function from Tripoli, stressing that the kidnapping is a focus of attention of Libyan authorities and its security organs. He said such incident should not stand as stumbling block to the return of South Korean companies to Libya and reviving the economic file between the two countries. =Lana=
