Siala meets in Peking with Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Peking, 12 July 2018 (Lana) GNA Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siala met Tuesday in Peking with Chinese Foreign Minister and State Advisor, Wang Yi. The meeting held at the sideline of the 8th round of the ministerial meeting of Arab Chinese Cooperation Forum, focused on developing and promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The Chinese Minister praised the level of bilateral relations between the two countries, reiterating the Chinese consistent stance in support of the Libyan people and their institutions and readiness of China to resume work of the joint committee as soon as possible. The Chinese Minister also confirmed that the Chinese embassy is about to return to resume work from Tripoli as a well as return of Chinese companies contracted by the Libyan state implementing development projects. An MoU was signed on Libya's access to China Initiative Belt and Road announced by the Chinese President in 2013. =Lana=
