NOC declares status of force majeure at AlHarriqa and Zwitina Ports.

Tripoli, 2 July 2018 (Lana)National oil Corporation (NOC) has
declared Monday the status of force majeure at Oil ports of Al
harriqa and Zwitina. It said in a statement it took the measure
against the background of the crisis undergone by the country. NOC
also announced before force majeure at ras lanuf and Sedra oil ports.
NOC renewed its warning of dire consequences of the closure and
preventing ships from loading their oil cargo.
NNOC media office said the force majeure was declared after two
tankers were prevented from loading their oil shipment at Al harriqa
and Al Zwitina in the past two days after filling up the tanks at the
ports.
NOC called for ending the closure and allow NOC to carry out its
work to the interest of the Libyan people. it said daily losses
amounting to 850,000 bpd of crude oil, 710 million cubic meters of
natural gas and 20,000 barrels of condensers.
Losses estimated since the armed attack on the oil ports are
amounted to 650 million dollars.
