President of Presidency Council receives Chinese Charge d' Affaires.

Tripoli, 13 June 2018 (Lana) President of Presidency Council,
Fayez Al Sarraj received Tuesday in Tripoli the Chinese Charge
D'affaires to Libya.
The Chinese diplomat underscored the keen interest of the Chinese
President to activate joint cooperation with Libya.
The Diplomat also conveyed an invitation of the Chinese President
to President Al sarraj to visit China to discuss bilateral relations,
which has always been outstanding, and to attend the
African-Chinese Cooperation Forum due to be held soon in China.
The Chinese diplomat voiced his country's support to the GNA
government, and that it follows up with interest political
developments in Libya. China also supports UN efforts and supports
outcome of Paris meeting which approved presidential and
parliamentary elections by year end, he added.
At bilateral relations level, the Chinese diplomat expressed
desire of Chinese companies to return to Libya.
On his part the President underscored the friendship and
cooperation linking both countries, and welcomed the invitation to
visit China. He said the door is open for Chinese companies to work
in Libya, and looks forward to envigour the two countries relations
and develop joint cooperation to new fields.
He said there are positive outcome of the work of the committee
formed by GNA to follow up projects implemented by Chinese companies,
and agreed to review agreements and MoU signed by both countries
through the Foreign Ministry.
