President of Presidency Council receives Tunisian Foreign Minister.

Tripoli, 11 June 2018 (Lana) President of Presidency Council, Fayez Al Sarraj received Monday morning in Tripoli Foreign Minister of Tunis, Khamis Al Jehnawi, accompanied by General Consular of Tunis and the Tunisian Senior official responsible for the Libyan file. The meeting focused on political developments in Libya, bilateral relations and ways of their promotion. The Tunisian foreign minister conveyed greetings if President Al Baji Qaed Al Cibci to the president and renewing his support to the GNA government, expressing Tunisia's desire to promote bilateral relations and activate legal frameworks for trade relations. he said such issues to be discussed during the meeting of the joint committee. Al Jihanwi was quoted as saying that Tunis air would resume activities to Libya soon. Al Sarraj praised Tunisia support to the GNA and efforts to find peaceful solutions to the Libyan crisis. He also praises the brotherly relations and underscored the importance of activating cooperation in all fields, including economic, security and technical aspects. Al sarraj also briefed the Tunisian foreign minister on the outcome of Paris meeting and the election process in Libya asserting the need for such elections t be held on sound constitutional bases. Al Sarraj also praised the participation of President Al Cibci in Paris meeting. Foriegn Minister Sial and other Libyan senior officials attneded the meeting. =Lana
