Presidency Council: NO alternative for unity of ranks to encounter threats to the south of Libya.

Tripoli, 28 February 2018 (Lana) The Presidency Council has announced that any attack on the army's camps and premises is an attack on Libya's national sovereignty that threatens the entire security of the country. The Presidency Council praised in statement, the success of army units in countering the attacks on its premises in Sebha, stressing that it follows up closely the situation, and that measures have been taken to support these units and respond to the repeated attacks carried out by mercenaries. The Council said it will not abandon its role and duty to defend the south of the country, and abort all attempts designed to create new demographic reality in the south of Libya. He called on the people of southern Libya to support the army units. The Presidency Council called on elderly and dignitaries to contribute to solving disputes and social tension which are all designed to sow discord and torn apart the social fabric, stressing that there will be no alternative to the unity of ranks to face the peril threatening the southern part of the country. =Lana=
