Broad meeting between Minister of Labour, Local Government and NOC.

Tripoli, 28 February 2018 (Lana) Abroad meeting was held between Minister of Labour, Al Mmehdi Al Ameen, Minister of Local Government, Bedad Gansu, chairman of National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla in the presence of several NOC officials in Tripoli. The meeting covered the situation of oil fields in southern Libya, the minister of Labour underscored the importance of communication with all parties to calm the situation and consider the necessary demands of Oil Installation Guards to provide security to oil fields employees. Sanalla praised the efforts made by ministers of Labour and Local government to contact all parties concerned to calm the situation and try to address the closure of the oil fields which negatively impacts oil production. he stressed that NOC distances itself from any political or regional polarizations. It underscored that NOC works professionally and neutrally according to legislations enforce and works for the public good. An arrangement is to be made for an official visit by a ministerial delegation and NOC representative to see the problem beforehand and take necessary measurers to calm the situation and to resume work at the fields. =Lana=
