President of Presidency Council Holds Talks in Istanbul With President Erdogan.

Istanbul, 27 February 2018(Lana) The President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj discussed in Istanbul on Monday with Turkish President Recep Tayyeb Erdogan bilateral relations, means of upgrading economic exchange between the two countries contribution by Turkish companies to the reconstruction effort in Libya. The two Presidents welcomed the results of the Turkish-Libyan Investment and Development Conference which ended on Sunday. The conference discussed role of Turkish companies in the reconstruction process and putting place a mechanism for upgrading exchange between the two countries. Erdogan said his country was prepared to contribute to the investment and development projects in Libya, highlighting the effort being made by the GNA to restore security and stability in Libya. On his part the President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord underscored the historical ties linking the two countries and expressed his gratitude for Turkish support for the political process in Libya. The meeting was attended by the GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala, Minister of Planning Al Taher Al Jheimi and Libya's Ambassador to Turkey.
