Minister of State for Displaced Affairs Meets UN Special Envoy to Libya.

Tripoli, 25 February 2018(Lana) The Minister of State for Displaced Affairs Yusuf Jlala on Sunday met the Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya Ghasan Salama to discuss the issue of displaced and how to provide assistance internally. According to the Council's information office the meeting, which was convened at the Government headquarters, focused on ways of delivering assistance to the displaced of Tauergha until they are able to return to their homes. There was an agreement for prior coordination in issues related to the displaced as part of the national reconciliation supervised by UNSMIL in line with the priorities of the Government of National Accord. The Minister highlighted the UN assistance and support as far as the displaced issue is concerned, and on his part Salama pledged UN support for the Ministry of Displaced and urged coordination through the endorsed liaison point at the Ministry. =Lana=
