Benghazi Stabilization Committee grants permission to municipality to contract for development projects.

Committee has held its first meeting for 2018. Several decisions
were taken at the meeting for reconstruction of the city and
implement emergency developmental projects and address bottlenecks in
Benghazi for the amount of LD 163 millions.
The committee also decided to allocate LD 98 million for the
municipality and granted permission for limited public and private
tender to implement projects listed in the budget during the
specified period.
A committee to oversee and follow up implementation of projects
listed in the budget was formed.
