GNA Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Receives Credentials of New British Ambassador.

Tripoli, 14 February 2018(Lana) The GNA Foreign Ministry
Undersecretary Lutfi Al Mogherbi on Wednesday received the
credentials of the New British Ambassador Frank Baker.
Welcoming the new ambassador, Al Mogherbi said he would find the
cooperation and assistance he needed to carry out his duties in
Libya.
'The Ambassador had worked in Libya previously and now he would
seek to strengthen bilateral ties and on our part we will give him
all the assistance he needs to fulfill his mission, Al Mogherbi told
the Libyan news agency.
In a statement to Lana following the presentation of his
credentials the Ambassador said he was delighted to be assigned to
his country's mission in Libya, indicating that he had previously
worked in the country, and that he was excited to start his new
appointment as the new Ambassador of Britain in Tripoli.
'I look forward to meeting with Libyans, and to travel across the
country driven by the strength of relations and links between Libyans
and Britons, the Ambassador said.
He said he had a useful talks with the Undersecretary, and would
seek to work with Libyan officials and indeed the people of Libya to
promote the relationship between the two countries in all areas.
