Two Da'esh Suspects Arrested as They Prepare to Carry out Terror Operation in Libya.

Tripoli, 9 January 2018(Lana) An Interior Ministry Security force
has detained two terrorists belonging to Da'esh who were planning to
carry out a terrorist attack in the capital Tripoli.
Al Radaa Al Khasa Force 'concerned with combating terrorism' on
Monday night published confessions by two terrorist elements from the
city of Benghazi, who said that they had fled the city to Tripoli and
were preparing to carry out a terrorist operation before they were
caught.
The first suspect named Seraj Al Jehawi and nicknamed 'Abu
Huraira', and the second named Mohamed Bala nicknamed 'Abu Ayub'
confessed to investigators that they had prepared a booby trap car in
the southern region, then moved to the capital with the car which
they placed in front of a military or security post.
According to the suspects the they had failed to set off the
explosives because of a failed detonator, and were eventually rounded
up and arrested.
Meanwhile, a Force belonging to the Central Security Department
has also dismantled an explosive device in central Tripoli. It was
not clear whether the operation was part of the confessed failed
plans.
Despite its defeat in Benghazi and Sirte, some Da'esh elements
are still at large and bent on carrying out revenge attacks by means
of booby-trapped cars and suicide attacks, the latest of which was
the one carried out on the Misrata court house complex in which 3
were security men were killed.
