Italian Coast Guard Rescue More Than 2000 Migrants.

Rome, 16 April 2107(Lana) The Italian Coast Guard has announced
that they have rescued more than 2000 migrants who were on dinghies
in the Mediterranean Sea.
Five boats have taken part in picking 2074 from 16 dinghies and 3
wooden boats, a statement by the Italian Coast Guard said on Friday.
More than 24000 migrants have arrived in Italy from Libya in the
first three months of 2017, according to the UN High Commission for
Refugees 'UNHCR', against 18000 in 2016.
