GNA Ministers of Transport and Local Government Inspect Mi'tiga Airport.

Tripoli, 29 December 2016(Lana) The Ministers of Transport Milad Ma'atoug and Local Government Badad Gonsou of the Government of Local Government on Tuesday conducted an inspection tour of Mi'tiga Airport to get a firsthand account of the obstacles facing this facility including security and operational problems. Ma'atoug and Gonsou were accompanied during the tour with the Directors of Civil Aviation Authority, Airports Authority and Mi'tiga Airport as well as the Mayor of Suk Al Gomoa and heads of departments. According to the Presidency Council Information and Communication Department Ma'atoug paid tribute to the role of the Mayor of Suk Al Gomoa and the notables of the area in extending the helping hand to the Transport Ministry in providing the right conditions to operate the airport given the importance of the airport to the capital. The Minister noted that an agreement have been reached with the Italian Navigation Authority to put in place a new mobile control tower at the airport, the Information Department said. =Lana=
