Turkey Says to Deal With Presidency Council Only, Congratulates Libyan on Liberation of Sirte.

Tripoli, 18 December 2016(Lana) Turkey has said it would officially deal with the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord and institutions brought about by the political agreement. In a statement posted to its website on the passage of 1 year of the political agreement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the Al Sukheirat agreement was a road map for the ongoing effort to establish peace and stability in Libya. It called for activation of the political bodies stipulated in the agreement, considering the Presidency Council as the only interlocutor in Libya in accordance with the UN resolutions. The statement urged all parties, especially in the capital Tripoli to resolve their differences peacefully, and called on the UN and the international community to shoulder their responsibilities by supporting Libya to get out of its crisis. The statement congratulated Libyans on liberation from Sirte from the Da'esh terrorist group. =Lana=
