Al Ibrahimi Appeals to Libyans to Resolve Their Problems Their own Rejecting foreign Intervention.

Algiers, 17 December 2016(Lana) The Algerian diplomat and former
Foreign Minister Al Akhdar Al Ibrahimi has expressed his concern over
the situation in Libya, urging Libyans to resolve their problems
their own.
In an interview with the Algerian News Agency on Friday, Al
Ibrahimi said 'there is no alternative to national attempt, and
Libyans have to find solutions themselves. He described what is going
on in Libya 'a catastrophe with all sense of the word, a tragedy and
injustice imposed on innocent people.'
Al Ibrahimi, who was UN Envoy to Afghanistan, Iraq and other
countries stressed his opposition to foreign intervention in Libya.
He pointed to the danger and the responsibility posed by the
crisis in Libya to the Arab Maghreb, saying a crisis by the scale of
the one in Libya cannot be contained inside the Libyan borders, and
Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria as well as the Sahel countries have
interests in resolving of this crisis as soon as possible for the
problems it brought about such migration and arms smuggling.
