Algiers, 17 December 2016(Lana) The Algerian diplomat and former Foreign Minister Al Akhdar Al Ibrahimi has expressed his concern over the situation in Libya, urging Libyans to resolve their problems their own. In an interview with the Algerian News Agency on Friday, Al Ibrahimi said 'there is no alternative to national attempt, and Libyans have to find solutions themselves. He described what is going on in Libya 'a catastrophe with all sense of the word, a tragedy and injustice imposed on innocent people.' Al Ibrahimi, who was UN Envoy to Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries stressed his opposition to foreign intervention in Libya. He pointed to the danger and the responsibility posed by the crisis in Libya to the Arab Maghreb, saying a crisis by the scale of the one in Libya cannot be contained inside the Libyan borders, and Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria as well as the Sahel countries have interests in resolving of this crisis as soon as possible for the problems it brought about such migration and arms smuggling. =Lana=
