Tunisian defense minister says his country is against military intervention in Libya.

Tunisia, 39.10.2016 - Lana - The Tunisian national defense minister
'Farhat Harshani' , on Thursday , asserted that his country is
against military intervention in Libya , and supports the political
solution.
Harshani , in statements quoted by the Tunisian news agency on Friday
, as saying ; "what has been circulating in the western media , about
the existence of an American military base in Tunisia , in
preparation to hit targets in Libya , is not true" , asserting that ;
" the time of military bases had gone , and Tunisia is a sovereign
country , and there will be no foreign military bases in it".
He added ; "the information had become an important element in the
war on terrorism , so Tunisia had commenced in a project , to promote
its capabilities in controlling information , and to eliminate the
risk of terror threats , and to pursue terrorists , through the use
of drones , with the help of friendly countries including the unites
states of America".
Stressing that ; "confronting terrorism cannot be achieved out of the
international cooperation frame , especially with the countries that
have great capabilities" , confirming that , "Tunisia's borders are
secure".
