Tripoli, 19.10.2016(Lana) President of the Presidency Council, of
GNA, Fayez Saraj said; ahead of us is uneasy national task, but
necessary and inevitable that is unifying the armed forces to
comprise all military formations across the country within a unified
structure working like all world armies under political leadership,
so our country would have Libyan army based on international
professional standards, its doctrine protection of the homeland
without intervention in the political affairs.
In speech at the 6th gathering of army officers in Tripoli Saraj
added; I carried with me during all my meetings with officials of
friendly and sisterly countries, the file of lifting the arms
embargo to equip and modernize the military institution, and the
potential of training our soldiers and officers in collaboration
with specialized international military academies and institutions.
