Tripoli, 15.08.2016(Lana) Fortified Structure forces announced
progress mid- town Serte after taking control of more buildings. Four
days after Da'esh terrorist organization lost its main stronghold in
the city.
Fortified Structure Forces spokesman Brig. Mohamed Al Ghusery said
Da'esh control I'm the city is limited to District One down town the
city.
He explained that Districts Two to the West and Three to the east are
clash zones.
In press statements, Al Ghusry said Fortified Structure Forces
managed to enter District Two and try to take full control. He said
progress on the second front that is District Three are at slow pace.
He stressed that military the battle has ended and proclamation of
victory will not be long with fixing a date.
Al Ghusry stated that Serte is deserted of civilians save Da'esh
families and that members if the organization are currently besieged
in residential areas down town the city.
Fortified Structure Operations Room announced Sunday aborting a
Da'esh attempt to detonate two bony-trapped cars trying to advance
towards advancing forces in District two. It also said it took
control of important centres in the city such as Ouagadougou Halls,
IbenSina Hospital, University District and banks. It said it
inflicted heavy casualties and losses in equipment on Daesh
organization after bridging it in narrow areas and bombarding it with
heavy artilleries and air raids.
