A seminar on empowering women in Tripoli.

Tripoli, 11.08.2016(Lana) A HSC sponsored seminar on empowering women
was held in Tripoli. Abdulrahman Al Sawihli President of the High
State Council , female members of the HSC and municipal members,
women activists attended the seminar.
The seminar themed; 'Working for my rights' discussed implementing
Article 11 of the Political Accord signed in Sukhirat that provides
for GNA commitment to support women empowerment. The seminar aimed at
finding and putting in place mechanisms and necessary structure to
implement the political accord as far as women empowerment is
concerned and their role in the transition.
