Head of GNA Presidential Council: Liberation of Sirte in Weeks.

Rome, 11 August 2016(Lana)The Head of the Presidential Council of
the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Saraj has predicted that
forces of the Solid Structure operation would be able to fully
liberate the city of Sirte within weeks.
'I do not think this will take a long time, perhaps weeks but not
months, Al Saraj said in an interview with the Italian 'Corriere
Della Sera newspaper.
Al Saraj said Libya-Italian relations were very strong and
consolidated, and we seek a closer cooperation. Italy has offered us
a lot in the humanitarian respect, also in treating the war wounded
which we badly need at this difficult times, he said.
