Tripoli, 2 July 2018 (Lana) Libyan Italian Joint Committee concerned with migration met Monday at the Foreign Ministry in Tripoli. The meeting discussed technical cooperation in the fight against illegal migration. The meeting was attended by Head of European Department, Lawi Al Turjman, ambassador of Italy to Libya and several experts from both sides. Libyan navy rescues 115 illegal migrants Sebratha.

Sebratha, 2 July 2018 (Lana) Western Sector Coast Guard managed to rescue 115 illegal migrants including two children and ten women who were on board an inflated boat. Navy spokesman said the rescue operation was carried out 10 miles north of Al wadi Sabratha and that the migrants hold various African nationalities.
