Tripoli, 4 November 2018(Lana) The Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord has congratulated the Libyan Marine Forces on the anniversary of the establishment of the forces on the 2nd of November 1962. The anniversary of the establishment of the Marine Forces is an opportunity to reflect of the role the forces played in protecting the Libyan coast in an effort integrated with that of other armed forces, the Presidency said in a statement. Health Services Official Denies Halt of Medical Treatment for Libyan Cancer Patients in Jordan.

Tripoli, 1 November 2018(Lana) An official at the Jordan Cancer Treatment Centre has denied that treatment of Libyan cancer patients has been halted in Jordan. Nearly 2700 Libyan cancer patients have been treated at the centre in one year, said Mudhir Hwarat, Director of Patients Affairs at Al Hussein Cancer Centre, who indicated that treatment was halted for new cases and those patients who can pursue their treatment in Libya.
