Libyan Consular Affairs Dept Advises Libyan Travelers and Residents in Tunisia to Report any Harassment to the Police.

Tripoli, 4 November 2018(Lana) The Consular Affairs Department at the Libyan Foreign Ministry has called on Libyan travelers and residents in Tunisia to report any cases of harassment and mistreatment by a Government body, the Police, the Army or the public to the Police or the nearest consular mission, in the capital Tunis or Sfax. Italian Prime Minister Invites President of Tunisia to Attend Palermo Conference.

Tunis, 4 November 2018(Lana) Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has extended an invitation to the Tunisian President Al Baji Qayed Al Sebsi, to take part in the Palermo Conference on the Libyan crisis due to be held on Nov. 12,13. The invitation was extended during an audience Conte had with the Tunisian President at the presidential palace in Carthag in the capital Tunis. Health Services Official Denies Halt of Medical Treatment for Libyan Cancer Patients in Jordan.

Tripoli, 1 November 2018(Lana) An official at the Jordan Cancer Treatment Centre has denied that treatment of Libyan cancer patients has been halted in Jordan. Nearly 2700 Libyan cancer patients have been treated at the centre in one year, said Mudhir Hwarat, Director of Patients Affairs at Al Hussein Cancer Centre, who indicated that treatment was halted for new cases and those patients who can pursue their treatment in Libya.
