NOC Demands Emergency Security Measures at Al Sharara Oil Fields.

Tripoli, 6 January 2019(Lana) The National Oil Company has demanded that emergency security measures be enforced at the Al Sharara oil fields, which was scene of a security violation incident recently. Some of the operation facilities at the fields have been ransacked and vandalized including transformers and cables on various wells, the NOC said on its website. Al Madar Al Jadid Teams up With Tripoli Hospital to Perform 50 Open Heart Surgeries.

Tripoli, 6 January 2109(Lana) The Al Madar Al Jadid Telephone Company and the Tripoli University Hospital have signed an agreement to perform 50 open-heart surgeries for patients from the southern Libyan region. The Director of Tripoli University Hospital highlighted the agreement as a step to reopen the cardiovascular department and thus resume open-heart operations, to ease the suffering of patients due to expensive treatment in private clinics and abroad.
