Munich, 18 February 2019(Lana) The UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghasan Salama held in Munich, where he attended the Security Conference, a number of international leaders and politicians. Tripoli, 18 February 2019 (Lana) Central Bank of Libya announced Monday the release of the second issue of the one-dinar note. A ceremony was organized for the occasion attended by Governor of Central Bank and several head of departments. The governor announced the circulation of the new one-dinar note as of Monday. He said Libya is the forerunner of countries, numbering 20 that use paper -plastic currency. He said the current one dinar note will be withdrawn gradually from circulation. Valletta, 18 February 2019(Lana) A court in the Mediterranean Island of Malta has released the hijacker of the Afriqiyah airliner which was on a flight from Sebha to Mi'tiga airport on Dec.23, 2016, and forcing it to land in Luqa Airport with 111 passengers on board.
