Tripoli, 11 April 2019 (Lana) Germany has expressed profound concern over broke out of clashes at outskirts of Tripoli, calling for its immediate halt and refrain from all forms of escalation. Tripoli, 11 April 2019(Lana) The Electricity Company Communications Department has announced that 'as a result of the ongoing clashes in south Tripoli, a number of power transmission lines have been hit which caused power outages in several areas. UN Calls for Halt of Fighting in Libya.

New York, 11 April 2019(Lana) The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has issued a new appeal for a ceasefire in Libya, to avoid what he termed as a 'dramatic bloody battle for Tripoli.' New York, 10 April 2019(Lana) The UN Security Council is due to hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments in Libya. Diplomatic sources said the UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghasan Salama would brief the Council on his decision to delay the National Gathering Conference, which was planned in Ghadamis on the coming days.
