Italian Prime Minister: Closure of Libya's Oil Terminals Will Endanger Energy Resources.

Tripoli, 22 January 2020(Lana) Italian Prime Minister Jiuseppe Conte has called on Tuesday for avoiding closing oil terminals in Libya. Conte was quoted by Aki news agency as saying 'we should avoid initiatives of this kind. He was referring the closure of oil terminals and fields. 'We have not only avoid hostilities but also action that jeopardize energy resources, Conte told reporters in Florence. EU: Adjustment of Sofia Operation to Involve Arms Embargo on Libya Agreed.

Brussels, 22 January 2020(Lana) EU High Representative of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has said that EU members have agreed to adjust Sofia Operation concerned with combating trafficking in the Mediterranean to involve forcing of the arms embargo imposed by the UN on Libya. Rome, 22 January 2020(Lana) Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio has said that the European Commission has re-0pened talks on migration and refuge and a new European agreement would be reached soon. Salama: Berlin Conference Success Would enable displaced people return to their homes.

Tripoli, 18 January 2020 (Lana) UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama has said he hopes that Berlin conference would lead to complete cease-fire to enable displaced Libyans return to their homes. This came during Salama's visit to displaced center south of the capital accompanied by his deputy for political affairs, Stephaney Williams.
