German Foreign Ministry Discloses Details of Ceasefire Agreement in Libya.

Berlin, 27 February 2020(Lana) German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has welcomed the ceasefire draft agreement reached the 5+5 Military Committee, revealing that the agreement provided for return of civilians and a joint monitoring mechanism to be manned by the UN and parties to the conflict. Maas described the agreement as a big stride saying 'the matter now for the parties to the conflict to take the opportunity to a real ceasefire'.
