GNA Minister of Economy Says Measures Will be Taken Against Price Gauging.

Tripoli, 19 March 2020(Lana) GNA Minister of Economy Ali Al Isawi called on law-enforcement bodies to follow up on violations of trade practices law especially regarding prices of food and medical supplies. Al Isawi said in a statement, he addressed a letter to the Ministry of Local Government to instruct the Municipal Guard to exercise direct follow up measures against food necessities and medical supplies manipulators. Presidency Council Issues Decision to Set up Multisectoral Committee to Combat CoronaVirus.

Tripoli, 18 March 2020(Lana) The GNA Presidency Council has issued a decision to set up a multisectoral committee with the task of coordinating emergency measures to combat CoronaVirus. President of Presidency Council Receives Italian Ambassador.

Tripoli, 17 March 2020(Lana) President of Presidency Council of Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj on Monday received the Italian Ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Botcino with whom he discussed situation in Libya and bilateral relations. Cooperation Between WHO and Libyan Health Ministry to Set up New Lab in Benghazi.

Tripoli, 17 March 2020(Lana) A spokesman for the World Health Organisation in Libya Ahmed Al Egaili said there has been cooperation between the organisation and the Libyan Health Ministry to set up a second lab in Benghazi, to avoid transporting samples to Tripoli in case of a CoronaVirus outbreak.
