Tripoli, 31 March 2015(Lana) The General Power Company has announced that the shedding of loads and blackouts in the Tripoli area were dictated by deliberate vandalizing of power lines linking the Kremiyah and Al Hadhba stations. Emergency maintenance work of the South Tripoli lines, a key conduit of power to the Tripoli and the surrounding areas has led to shedding of loads from 2 to 3 hours daily in some areas, the company said, adding that it expected the work to be completed today, and load shedding would stop. =...
