Tripoli, 21 April 2105(Lana) Unknown gunmen attacked in the early morning hours the South Korean embassy building in Tripoli, showering the gate with bullets, killing one guard, a passerby, and seriously wounding a third. 'The attack left a member of the diplomatic Police and a civilian man dead and a third man wounded, Col. Mabrouk Abu Dheir, the Director of Diplomatic Police force told the Libyan news agency. Canada Appoints New Ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, 12 April 2015(Lana) Canada has appointed David Spraul as the new ambassador to Libya, the Canadian Foreign Ministry announced. In a brief statement, the Ministry said Spraul would carry out his duties from the embassy office in Tunis.
