Tripoli Municipal Guards conduct an inspection campaign on commercial shops.

Tripoli, 01.06.2015(Lana) The Tripoli Municipal Guards Center in collaboration with the sixth band of the interior ministry on Monday confiscated large quantities of food products spoiled meat in several shops in Al-Dhahrah, Tripoli. Guards sources said the Tripoli Municipal Guards are currently conducting an inspection campaign in Souq Al-Dhahrah to inspect the shops' registrations, expiration dates of the products and whether products meet standards. First unit of Gulf Steam station stopped.

Serte, 01.06.2015 (Lana) The first unit of Khaleej Steam Station came to a halt recently causing problems to the national grid. Plant official told Lana that the first unit stopped because of shortages of light fuel used to operate generators which produces 175 megawatts. The official explained that fuel was not supplied after the tanker "Anwar" attacked last week causing technical problems to the tanker and injuring several crew members and two workers at the power plant while carrying 40,000 liters of light fuel.
