NOC Warns of Smuggling Subsidized Fuel Through Sea Borders.

Tripoli, 29 July 2105(Lana) The National Oil Company has notified the General Prosecutor and other competent authorities over smuggling of subsidized fuel through Sea borders, and offered to produce information and data on the matter. The Company called on the concerned bodies to shoulder their responsibilities, to protect the country's resources, and to stop the drain which adversely affects the lives of the average Libyan. Tripoli, 28 July 2105(Lana) Tripoli Appeals Court on Tuesday issued its verdicts and sentences against a number of defendants, loyalists of the former regime for their role in suppressing the Feb 17 Revolution in 2011. The Court imposed fines on Abdullah Al Senussi, Al Baghdadi Al Mahmoudi, Mansour Dhaw, Abdul Hamid Ammar Ouheida, and Oudeit Ghandour Al Noubi of LD 50,000 and oblige Abdullah Al Senussi to compensate public treasury for squandering public money according to the amount identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD 24,505,000.00.
