Ministry of Tourism Publishes Report on Roman Ruins West of Khoms.

Tripoli, 2 September 2015(Lana) In scenery landscape in the bushy hills west of the coastal city of Khoms new cluster of Roman ruins highlight the coastal strip stretching from Wadi Yala in the east to Nagaza Heights in the west. A report by the Ministry of Tourism detailed the disparity of the ruins from grave stones to remnants of ancient factories, walled farms and villas which yet to be unveiled, except for Villa Celin which is located in Wadi Yala. Al-Salabi calls for fresh elections in Libya.

Tripoli, 01.09.2015(Lana) A member of World Union of Muslim Scholars, Ali Al-Salabi considered that appointment of a UNSMIL sponsored consensual government through a political accord would be a blow to democratic values and would deprive Libyans of their rights to elect their rulers. IMF ready to support reconstruction of Libya.

Tripoli, 01.09.2015(Lana) IMF expressed readiness to support efforts to rebuild Libya, stressing that it follows up dialogue sessions between the relevant parties. UN envoy to Libya holds consultation in Istanbul with GNC representatives.

Tripoli, 01.09.2015(Lana) Head of UNSMIL, Bernardino Leon is holding Tuesday consultations in Istanbul with GNC representatives to discuss ways to proceed with the dialogue process to reach a peaceful solution to the political crisis in Libya. A tanker loaded with one million barrels of crude oil at Al-Hariqa oil port.

Benghazi, 01.09.2015(Lana) A Libyan oil official said Tuesday that a tanker is currently loaded with one million barrels of crude oil at Al-Hariqa port in Toboruk, east of Libya. The port is operated by Arab Gulf Oil Company. Several oil fields and ports such as Al-Zawitina, Sedr and Rasanouf closed due to turmoil.
