NCDC: 970 CoronaVirus Cases 732 Recoveries, 13 Deaths.

Tripoli, 11 November 2020(Lana) - The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has issued a daily CoronaVirus update in Libya for Saturday Nov.10. The NCDC said it received 4221 samples for PCR testing, 3251 have turned out to be negative and 970 positive, of which 657 new cases and 313 cross infection. The NCDC Communication Committee has said has recorded 732 recoveries and 13 deaths. This brings to 70.010 the total CoronaVirus cases in Libya, of which 27.541 active cases, 41.512 recoveries and 957 deaths. =... Read more

Tripoli, 11 November 2020(Lana) The UN Support Mission in Libya UNSMIL has strongly condemned the naked daylight assassination of lawyer and human rights activist Hanan Al Bar'asi in the city of Benghazi on Tuesday. UNSMIL called in statement for perpetrators to be brought to justice immediately, noting that Al Bar'asi was staunch anti-corruption and abuse of power and human rights activist.
