Governor of CBL meets with leaders of J.P. Morgan in Washington.

Washington, 23 April 2025 (Lana) Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Naji Issa, and his accompanying delegation met yesterday, in Washington, with leaders from J.P. Morgan.

The meeting included Daniel Zelikow, Vice President of the bank; Georges Ashkar, Executive Director and Head of Public Sector for the Middle East and North Africa; and Rahul Shah, General Manager of Global Financial Solutions.

The meeting discussed international economic developments, global market prospects, the CBL's policy of diversifying investment to preserve and grow foreign exchange reserves, and the CBL’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with correspondents abroad.
