Syrian Foreign Ministry: Libya affirms its support for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity

Tripoli, December 5, 2024 (LANA) - The Syrian Foreign Ministry said that Minister of Social Affairs and Expatriates Bassam Sabbagh received a phone call from Taher Al-Baour, who is in charge of running the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Libya.

According to the Syrian Foreign Ministry, Al-Baour affirmed the Libyan state's support for Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity, and the security of its citizens.

It added that Taher Al-Baour, who is in charge of running the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Libya, expressed Libya's concern about what is happening in Syria, especially since his country has gone through a similar experience in the war against terrorism.
