Al-Dabaiba follows up on the activation of the work of the Czech Embassy from Tripoli.

Tripoli, June 10, 2024 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received today, Monday, the Director of the Africa and Middle East Department at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Peter Hladbek, to follow up on the measures taken regarding activating the work of the Czech Embassy from Tripoli and bilateral relations between the two countries.

The meeting was attended, according to the Prime Minister's Media Office, by the Czech Ambassador to Libya, Štebanka Leteska, the Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Rahman Bukhamada, and the Chargé d'Affaires of the Libyan Embassy to the Czech Republic, Bashir Haji.

Al-Dabaiba thanked the Czech Republic for its support during Hurricane Daniel, which was appreciated by the Libyan people.

The Prime Minister stressed the need for communication and cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries to return relations to normal, praising the memorandum of political understanding signed between the two ministries, which will contribute to activating relations between the two countries.
