Public Prosecutor’s Office announces the arrest of ''77'' people with murder charges since 2011.

Tripoli, May 16, 2024 (LANA) - The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced yesterday, Wednesday, that judicial officers have arrested 77 people whom murder charges have been issued against them since 2011, in cooperation with the Tripoli Security Directorate.
The office stated that, in fulfillment of the duty to provide justice to the victims of killings committed during the years from 2011 to 2024, judicial officers were able, within the jurisdiction of the Tripoli Security Directorate, to enforce arrest warrants issued against seventy-seven people to whom acts of murder were attributed that necessitated their prosecution.
The office reported that the officers took over hearing the defendants’ statements and they were presented to the competent investigating authority.
