GNU Foreign Ministry participates in the meeting of the North Africa Regional Conference.

Tripoli, April 21, 2024 (Lana) The GNU Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation participated in the meeting of the North Africa Regional Conference as part of preparations for the 9th African Conference scheduled to be held at the end of November in the city of Lomé, Togo.

The meeting, which was held virtually under the slogan “African Unity and Migration,"  discussed exploring national experiences in the area of migration and African unity and how expatriates contribute to the development of African economies, and presenting and adopting the final declaration and draft relevant documents that will be submitted to the 9th African Conference.

The meeting was chaired by the Undersecretary for Immigration and Expatriates Affairs, Mohamed Zidan, on behalf of the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, in addition to the Director of the Department of African Affairs and representatives of the Department of African Affairs and the Department of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs.
