Al-Qubba, April 18, 2024 (LANA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, confirmed that the solution in Libya is to hold presidential and parliamentary elections.

Saleh said during his meeting with the Russian ambassador to Libya, “Idar Aganin,” in Al-Qubba on Thursday, “This requires the quality of a unified government throughout Libya.”

  According to Council spokesman Abdullah Belhaq, the meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in Libya and ways to end the Libyan crisis.

During the meeting, the Russian ambassador handed over an official invitation from the "State Duma" to the Speaker of the House of Representatives to visit Moscow.
