Tripoli, April 17, 2024 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, discussed today, Wednesday, at the Council’s headquarters, the latest political developments in Libya, with the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden.

According to the media office of the President of the Council, the meeting discussed the importance of work and coordination between the parties concerned with the Libyan crisis, in addition to Britain’s continued support for the Supreme Finance Committee as a tool that ensures fair distribution of resources with disclosure, transparency, and rationalization of spending.

Al-Manfi affirmed his keenness to continue consultations with all parties with the aim of reaching a comprehensive political settlement that leads to free and fair elections to which all Libyans are satisfied.
