Washington, April 16, 2024 (LANA) - Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, “Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir,” discussed with the American Atlantic Council; The latest developments in the Libyan economic and political situation, and support for the National Oil Corporation to maintain and increase oil production rates.
The Central Bank reported on its official website: The meeting, which was held on Monday at the Council’s headquarters in Washington, also discussed working in coordination with the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives to approve a unified budget for the Libyan state, the policies of the Central Bank in facing challenges to maintain the financial sustainability of the Libyan state, and international geopolitical changes.
