The unity government denies the circulating post regarding Al-Dabaiba’s denunciation of the Iranian military escalation.

Tripoli, April 14, 2024 (LANA) - The National Unity Government denied on Sunday the authenticity of the post circulating on social media platforms, which claims that Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba denounced the Iranian military escalation against the Israelis.

  The Council’s Media Office told the Prime Minister, “We confirm that this circulating post by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba is false and has no basis in truth.”

  The post, which was denied by the government and attributed to Al-Dabaiba, stated: “We denounce the Iranian escalation with its military movements that will lead to igniting the region and increasing the pace of conflict, and we affirm that Iran’s negative interventions against the countries of the region are one of the reasons for the tragedies and wars we are witnessing, and we call on the Libyans to take a position condemning the Iranian escalation that threatens the efforts of Ceasefire in Gaza).
