Minister of State for Immigration Affairs in the government appointed by the House of Representatives discusses the situation of Sudanese refugees in Libya.

Benghazi, April 09, 2024 (LANA) - The Minister of State for Illegal Immigration Affairs in the government appointed by the House of Representatives, “Fathi Al-Tabawi,” met yesterday, Monday, with the Consul General of the State of Sudan, Abdul Rahman Rahmat-Allah, the Deputy Consul General Muhammad Jamal-al-Din Omar, and the advisor at the Consulate, Ismail Omar Sati; to discuss the conditions of Sudanese refugees in Libya and ways to provide assistance to them.

According to the official government website, the Sudanese Consul General appreciated the positions of the Libyan government since the beginning of the crisis and its continued provision of full assistance to facilitate the entry of Sudanese into Libya.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Tabawi stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two brotherly peoples, stressing the interest of the government and all parties in helping the brotherly Sudanese refugees in Libya.
